White's Oats Mill Visit
Come and learn about Oat Milling.
We are once again taking a group of farmers across to visit Whites Oats and learn more about the process of milling oats, the oat market and future prospects and the need for good quality grains.
We've moved it earlier in the year to avoid lambing as this has been an obstacle for some in the past.
Farmers who have previously made the trip across have found it very informative and increased their understanding of the process and the need for good quality grain. It has helped them feel greater connection to their customer and supply chain and has been very useful.
It is also a great opportunity to meet fellow organic oat growers and exchange ideas and share your challenges and ask others for answers.
