Moisture Meter Testing

With National Organic Congress being cancelled this year we don't the opportunity to offer members a moisture meter clinic.  It is important to get your moisture meter calibrated and so we are offering other opportunities for you to do so.

Our friend, Linda from Trinity Grain has kindly invited you attend other moisture meters she is running on behalf of Trinity Grain and so will be available to test your moisture meters on:

Wednesday 11th June - 10am - 3pm,  Weald Granary, Grain Store, Seven Mile Ln, Mereworth, Maidstone ME18 5PZ

Wednesday 18th June -  10am - 3pm, Trinity Grain, Membury Grain Store, Ramsbury Rd, Lambourn Woodlands, Hungerford RG17 7TJ

Wednesday 25th June - 10am - 3pm, Trinity Grain Shrewton Grain Store, Near Rollestone Camp, Shrewton, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP3 4DS

Tuesday 1st July - 10am - 3pm, West Country Grain Combwich Road, Cannington, Bridgwater TA5 2PL

Tuesday 8th July  - 9am - 4pm Trinity Grain - Micheldever Grain Store, Overton Road, Micheldever Station, Winchester, Hampshire, SO21 3FX 

These are across the south and may be too far to travel.  You can also send your moisture meter to Linda and she will test an calibrate it for you.  Please do so soon as once she is into harvest she is too busy to turn it around quickly.

All tests are charged at £10 per meter and any postage incurred will be recharged.

Finally, we will be having some samples of oven dried grain available at Groundswell for Organic Arable members to collect in order for you to be able to calibrate your moisture meter
