Dear All, following my attendance at last week's LiveSeeding project meeting in Poland, I have made a plan with a researcher at the French Organic Research Institute to assess seed vigour from different farms and different sources, be it home saved or commercial seed lots.

If you have either home saved Mascani or home saved Extase, please keep a small sample of around 500g back for us to send for analysis.

We will be collecting seed from commercial seed lots too in  order to compare the different production types and also the effects of environment on the seed quality.

This work could be crucial in establishing the benefits or otherwise of buying new seed versus home saving.
