A spot of Bird Watching
Andrew and I were out doing a spot of "twitching" on Friday as part of the GWCT Big Farmland Bird Count. We know Organic farming makes a huge contribution to Biodiversity so wanted to get out and see what we could find.
We visited Hammonds End Farm in Harpenden, Herts to collect our data. It was very windy and probably not the best time of day to see as many birds as we were hoping but despite that we did still see several species, including a large flock of red wings and meadow pipits. You can find our results right.
